City Administrator Chip Rerig: FRIDAY LETTERS

CITY OF CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA, CALIFORNIA
Carmel-by-the-Sea City Hall
FRIDAY LETTERS

About the Friday Letter
Believe that Doug Schmitz started the City Administrator's Friday Letter during his first tenure in the 80s. I've been continuing the tradition since arriving 110 blissful days ago. We're using this 'Mail Chimp' platform to produce and transmit the Friday Letter. It's incredibly easy to use (even for me) and provides some analytics on the recipients' access to the document.
My team supplies celebratory accomplishments and informational pieces throughout the week, and I pull things together on Fridays. We'll also periodically point out where we've made a mistake, and have been trying to highlight an employee every few weeks to reconnect the community with the staff in a more personal manner.

If you know of anyone who should receive the Friday Letter, please contact me at the following: crerig@ci.carmel.ca.us
