PLANNING COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING: Flanders Mansion Consideration of the re-circulated final Environmental Impact Report for the sale of Flanders Mansion project and advise the City Council on sale of the property and appropriate land uses for conformity with the General Plan

ABSTRACT: Today, the Planning Commission is scheduled to conduct a PUBLIC HEARING on the Flanders Mansion, VI. 1. Consideration of the re-circulated final Environmental Impact Report for the sale of Flanders Mansion project and advise the City Council on sale of the property and appropriate land uses for conformity with the General Plan. The STAFF REPORT RECOMMENDATION:
Assuming adoption of all of the mitigation measures in the EIR, all of the following sale alternatives appear consistent with the General Plan and reasonably consistent with the findings in the EIR (these are not ranked by staff):
6.6: Sale of Reduced Parcel--building only, plus a small area of adjacent land
6.5: Sale with Conservation Easements and Mitigations (all 1.252 acres)
6.5A: Sale of Reduced Parcel--remove easement areas from Alternative 6.5
6.7: Sale of Reduced Parcel--remove easement areas from Alternative 6.5, remove the driveway and add new trail connections.
