MONTEREY PENINSULA WATER SUPPLY PROJECT: Evidentiary Hearings, April 2–11, 2013

ABSTRACT:  Evidentiary Hearings on California-American Water Company’s Monterey Peninsula Water Supply Project (MPWSP), overseen by PUC Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) Gary Weatherford, are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, April 2 and extend until Thursday, April 11, 2013 at PUC headquarters in San Francisco.  Another session is scheduled for Tuesday, April 30 and Wednesday, May 1, 2013.  Forty witnesses from thirteen organizations are expected to testify and be cross-examined, according to reporting in The Monterey County Herald.  A list of the organizations is provided.  After the hearings, California-American Water Company will provide formal written response to the testimony.  ALJ Weatherford is expected to issue a proposed decision on the MPWSP in the autumn of 2013.
