AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES Meurer Municipal Consulting, LLC Council Orientation/Training and Executive Staff Development

ABSTRACT: On February 9, 2017, an AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES was executed between the CITY OF CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA and Meurer Municipal Consulting, LLC for “Council Orientation/Training and Executive Staff Development,” specifically CONSULTANT hereby agrees to provide to CITY training services for local officials and executive level City staff as the scope of services under this Agreement, including:
A. Orientation regarding local government structures and processes for elected officials including Council, Commissioners and Board members;
B. Training on such topics as leadership and team building with executive staff members; and
C. One-on-one training of executive level staff related to professional development in such areas as leadership and management.

Term. The work under this Agreement shall commence on September 1, 2016 and terminate on June 30, 2017. The parties may agree to extend or amend this Agreement prior to its expiration.

Compensation. CITY shall pay CONSULTANT in an amount not to exceed Nineteen Thousand Dollars ($19,000.00), which shall be based upon an hourly rate of One Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($150.00) as well as reimbursement for the cost of incidentals directly related to the work performed.
