Significance: California Register of Historical Resources criterion (2) is associated with the lives of persons important to local, California or national history. One of the oldest surviving house on “Professor’s Row,” it was built in 1917 by Professor J. F. Fish. In 1937, it was purchased by Don Blanding, popular poet and author of “Vagabond.
