Significance: California Register of Historical Resources criterion (2) is associated with the lives of persons important to local, California or national history. Talbert Josselyn, brother of Lewis Josselyn, moved to Carmel in 1914 and built his home in 1919. He was a writer, a book “Golden City,” co-founder of the Abalone League and participated in Forest Theater plays.
