SOLO SHOW “SLEIGHT OF HAND: THE ART OF THE TROMPE-L’OEIL FRAME” (Center Room):
Artist Christine Crozier presents an exhibition of oil paintings with frames that wittingly deceive the eye. View Crozier’s Artist’s Statement and two painting, including "Come to the Fair" and “Padre's Garden."

GALLERY SHOWCASE (Segal Room):
Sculptor/Painter Eleen Auvil presents “Continuum,” an exhibit of bronze sculpture and monoprints. View Auvil’s Education, Awards and Solo Shows and three pieces of sculpture.

Painter and Printmaker Barbara Johnson exhibits abstract paintings using mixed media on paper and relief prints. View Johnson’s Memberships, Education and Collections and three pieces of artwork, including “Tempest” (Relief Print), “Bravo” (Mixed Media on Paper) and “Checkerboard of Spring” (Oil on Canvas).

Painter Michel Tsouris exhibits oil on beeswax paintings illuminating and exploring the unconscious. View Tsouris’s Artist’s Statement, Education, Museums and Galleries, Memberships and three pieces of artwork, including "Levitation" (Tar, oil, wax on canvas), "Crossing Over” (Tar, oil, wax on canvas) and "Emergent Self" (Tar, oil, wax on canvas).

ALL MEMBER SHOW "PAINT MISBEHAVING" THEME SHOW (Beardsley Room):
Carmel Art Association artists expand their creative expression showing works inspired by a distinctively atypical theme.

MONTH-LONG CONTEST "CABINET OF CURIOSITIES" CONTEST (Segal Room):
The Carmel Art Association invites the public to participate in a month-long contest called the “Cabinet of Curiosities”. The goal is to identify curious items of interest hailing from many of the CAA artists studios, displayed in a special cabinet. Whoever gets the highest number of items correct wins a piece of art from the CAA’s auction selection. The contest ends March 6, 2010; the winner announced at the March 6, 2010 opening reception.
