CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA CITY COUNCIL: Tour of Inspection, Closed Session and Joint Meeting with the Planning Commission 6 August 2012

ABSTRACT: The Carmel-by-the-Sea City Council is scheduled to conduct a Tour of Inspection, Closed Session and Joint Meeting with the Planning Commission on Monday, August 6, 2012 at 4:30 P.M. (Roll Call, then Adjourn to Tours of Inspection) and 5:30 P.M. (Joint Meeting with the Planning Commission) The Tour of Inspection includes View the site of an appeal of the Forest and Beach Commission’s denial of an application for tree removal at a residence on Torres Street, 2 SE of Fifth Avenue and View the site of the proposed beach restrooms at Santa Lucia Avenue and Scenic Road. Closed Session involves four items, namely Public Employment- Government Code Section 54957. Title: Administrative Services Director. City Council will meet to consider public employment regarding selection of the Administrative Services Director; Public Employment- Government Code Section 54957. Title: Public Safety Director. City Council will meet to consider public employment regarding selection of the Public Safety Director; Potential Litigation - Government Code Section 54956.9(b).2 - Conference with legal counsel regarding potential litigation – one (1) matter; and Public Employee Performance Evaluation - Government Code Section 54957. Title: City Attorney. At 5:30 P.M., the Joint Meeting with the Planning Commission is scheduled to discuss, develop criteria, and provide policy direction for the redesign of the proposed beach restroom facilities at Santa Lucia Avenue and Scenic Road.
