STILWELL RESIGNS AS CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA CITY ADMINISTRATOR

Jason Stilwell will be “compensated according to his contract, which includes 60 days plus six months severance. He also will receive payment for unused vacation time and compensation time. Stilwell will receive compensation for an additional two months to assist the interim city administrator.”

"I think the council is on the right track to investigating those allegations, and it's important for the facts to come out, for people to understand what the contracts were, what were approved by staff, what was approved by council and what the costs were associated with that," Stilwell said. "I think in the end it will show the contracts were approved by the council and it was for work we all understood was going."
