RICHARD TAVENER CONTRACTS: City Recovers $5306.21, Amounts Paid in Excess of Contracts ADM-PCA-WSPAC-009-2013/14 & ADM-PCS-RTCE-0012-2013-14

ABSTRACT: With regard to a Public Record Act request for public records related to monies recovered from contracts, including but not necessarily limited to, contracts reviewed in “Investigative Report on City of Carmel-by-the-Sea Contracts,” as of May 4, 2015, and in response to a letter sent to Richard Tavener from Douglas J. Schmitz, City Administrator, dated April 22, 2015, stating in part, “The City seeks immediate reimbursement of $2796.21 for the unused advanced costs and $2510 for the overpayment of fees, for a total of $5306.21,” the City has recovered $5306.21, amount paid in excess of contracts, for the two RICHARD TAVENER CONTRACTS, namely ADM-PCA-WSPAC-009-2013/14 and ADM-PCS-RTCE-0012-2013-14.
