The point is that this tragedy was entirely predictable and avoidable. We invited (if not compelled) conflict with our politics of intrigue and meddling in Eastern Europe, our disregard for Moscow’s security interests, and our moral grandstanding over items like Nato’s eastward expansion, Ukrainian neutrality, and demilitarisation. Any seasoned diplomat of the Cold War would be left utterly mystified. This was and remains political and strategic malpractice.
The question now is whether we want to put millions of Ukrainian lives in jeopardy simply to keep it as a Western Bulwark on Russia’s frontier and a dagger at Moscow’s throat. The Russo-Ukrainian War must be condemned and brought to an end using diplomacy, but the West must accept a degree of culpability for leading the Ukrainians “down the primrose path” and egging on their showdown with their giant neighbour to the east. Any attempt to escalate and prolong this conflict by giving false hope to the Ukrainian people with tough rhetoric, moralistic bluster, lethal arms, and economic sanctions, the brunt of which will be felt by civilians on both sides, is irresponsible and callous. It would only ensure more death and suffering.

Hundreds of news organizations were paid by the federal government to advertise for the vaccines as part of a "comprehensive media campaign," according to documents TheBlaze obtained from the Department of Health and Human Services. The Biden administration purchased ads on TV, radio, in print, and on social media to build vaccine confidence, timing this effort with the increasing availability of the vaccines. The government also relied on earned media featuring "influencers" from "communities hit hard by COVID-19" and "experts" like White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci and other academics to be interviewed and promote vaccination in the news.

And there you have it. The FDA never required Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech to analyze duration or amount of protein expressed in cell culture after 48 hours, prior to injecting into humans. Let alone doing a thorough evaluation in either non-clinical animal models or in humans.

Conclusion
As noted at the outset, this Report by no means represents a “full audit” of the 2020 elections in the State of Wisconsin. Instead, it represents a snapshot of various issues identified by the OSC, other governmental actors, and citizens in the State, and makes a number of recommendations to fix them. Without full transparency by governmental actors, without a fully equipped office to investigate, and without time, some degree of triage by OSC was necessary. A full audit would undoubtedly take a look not just at evidence of major issues and draw inferences, but would take a comprehensive look at election processes, contracts, and machines, to stress test and run other technical reviews. This office has engaged with outside contractors and entered preliminary steps in the government procurement process. However, these auditors have let us know that without full access to information, they are unable to provide robust conclusions.
Again, as discussed by the Committee of Jurisdiction and the Speaker in public, the work of the Office of the Special Counsel is just getting started. The Office will remain authorized during the pendency of litigation to ensure that once the Wisconsin Supreme Court vindicates the right of the people to know what their own government is up to, we can expeditiously run necessary tests.
In the meantime, the major issues identified with compliance and oversight, especially at a time when the federal Congress is making known that legislative oversight is critical to lawmaking, are themselves cause for concern. The Special Counsel hopes that the Assembly and the public can continue to fight to hold our election administration accountable and to ensure it is secure and efficient.
Finally, the Special Counsel would like to thank the concerned citizens and citizen groups, the numerous clerks and other public servants who have cooperated with the investigation, and the staff, contractors, and partners of the OSC and Assembly for their hard work and dedication to improving our democratic system.
