Now we know the lcp was just a political reelection ploy by Sue. See, I am the only one who can get it certified.

And she conned the CCC with numerous factual errors, such as the city plants 500 trees a year, as pointed out on this blog. Sue has and had no intention of planting trees in Carmel.

A Tree City USA? We are no where near what we should be!

I read this blog and this is my first time commenting. I have to tell you, this blog makes people uncomfortable. For one thing, it jolts people out of their complacency. For another, it challenges antiquated, often wrong assumptions, like it can't get worse than this, the city plants 500 trees a year, all cities have reserves totally 80% of their budget. This blog provides evidence to blow those assumptions away, and people don't like it.

Every place I have lived has had amenities, something special to offer. But in all my years, I have never seen residents as mute as Carmelites over a closed community center, an unwanted National Register property, a deplorable Indoor and Outdoor Forest Theater. Councilmen and women with the preceding record would be out in a hurry in any other city. I don't get it.
