Candidate Jason Burnett and his team are looking more and more like Sue McCloud and her team every day spreading rumors and disinformation about their opponent to discredit the competition and win an election. Who would have thought dear leader Jason would use tactics to try to scare Pepè into quitting the mayoral race. Jason is looking more and more like the politician described by Los Angeles Times commenters in 2008, a lowlife political hack and conniving politico. Now, he says his style will be “consensus-building rather than the pursuit of his own agenda.” Then, as a registered Democrat in Bush 43’s EPA, he pursued his own agenda and topped it off with a grandstanding performance before friend Senator Barbara Boxer’s committee and a resignation. For those of us hoping for a change from 12 years of nasty, shameful, despicable tactics of Sue McCloud to now face the prospect of the same in Jason Burnett and his key supporters in not the kind of change we had hoped for.

Oh my god, you have got to be fricking kidding. Sorry, but there is no comparison between Jason Burnett and Sue McCloud. Worlds apart.

Boy, "Disappointed Voter" sure must dislike Burnett to read all of that into what is thought to be happening. DV's comments are based on pure conjecture and fabrication. The only truth to what was written is that Jason's style will be as a "consensus builder".

I doubt that anything will ever change the mind of DV when such hatred clouds the vision.

I feel sorry for this individual.

Burnett voted the same way as McCloud 84 percent of the time. That says a lot to support DV's view.
