Everybody to get free mail delivery; addresses may be banned, KIRSTIE WILDE, The Carmel Pine Cone, June 8, 2001
In two close votes, the Carmel City Council decided to give free, hone mail delivery to anyone who can’t or prefers not to go to the downtown post office, obtain free post office boxes for everybody else, and draw up an ordinance to make sure the street won’t be cluttered by mailboxes or addresses.
Carmel inaugurates home mail delivery plan. TAMARA GRIPPI, The Carmel Pine Cone, July 6, 2001
THIS WEEK marks the first time in Carmel-by-the-Sea’s history that the mail arrived on the doorsteps of those who requested it.
Electronic copy of documents in accordance with the aforementioned statements regarding “home mail delivery to anyone who can’t or prefers not to go to the downtown post office.”

Your request asks for copies of documents in accordance with a statement made by a Council Member at a Council meeting, which The Carmel Pine cone then used in an article, and excerpts from articles published in The Carmel Pine Cone.  The City is unable to provide documents for a Council Member's statement or articles which appeared in The Carmel Pine Cone.

Dear Ms. Paterson,

We seem to be going in circles here, so let me stop it with this reply:

You have asked for electronic copies of City responses to public records act request whereby City stipulates hard copies only between January 1, 2018 and May 16, 2018, such as, for example, the City response to PRA 2018-074.

As we have previously stated:

responses to your PRA request are hard copies which you will need to pick up at City Hall and pay a copying fee of $.20 a page.

Please don't continue to ask for this information in electronic format. We do not have it. If you want it, we will he happy to provide it, but at a cos6t of $.20/page.

I'm afraid I must tell you that any request which we believe to be a duplicate of a request you previously made, will be returned to you without action.

INFORMATION REQUESTED Follow-up to PRA 2018-067: #1 All that was attached to the response was a one page undated letter from Mr. Mozingo and the seven-pagE "application" Mr. Mozingo furnished to the City. Is it the City's representation that nothing else was reviewed regarding Mr. Mozingo, such as letters of recommendation, notes about reference checks, and the like. (The same deficiencies appear in the response to request no. 2) #3 - All that was attached was a single emal from Jan Reimers to Leslie Fenton, apparently related to the Request, and a brief email exchange between Carolyn Hardy and Carly Mayberry about a quote for the news report Ms. Mayberry was authoring about Mr. Mozingo's impending contract. Is it the City's representation that no other records exist that include statements by members of the City Council regarding the contranct with Mr. Mozingo? #5 - All that was attached was a one-page document listing three checks apparently paid to Mr. Mozingo in February and April of 2018, totaling $86,312.50. Is it the City's representation that no other records exist reflecting what was paid to Mr. Mozingo, or what was done to earn such payments?
#8 - If Mr. Rose performed legal services for the City for which payment was made, whether directly to him or through G. R. Mozingo, esq.,m APC. the public is entitled to know what was done, and how much it cost. If, for example, invoices to the City from G.R. Mozingo, Esq., APC, include a breakdown as to who performed each task included in that invoice, the public has a right to review those invoices to determine how many city dollars were paid for the work of Mr. Rose (The same reasoning applies to category 11 regarding Jon Giffen). #12 - The Drop-Box folder provided contains a document regarding one Public Records Act request, and two others records that appear to be irrelevant. Is it the City's representation that only one Public Records Act request has been made with respect to the category of records sought by the Request?
