ABSTRACT:  After the City Council’s Closed Session last Wednesday, December 31, 2014, City Attorney Don Freeman announced that the Settlement Agreement and Release between the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea and Leslie Fenton and the Settlement Agreement and Release between the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea and Margaret Perotti were adopted unanimously by the City Council.  The Agreements, namely the SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT AND RELEASE between the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea and Leslie Fenton and the SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT AND RELEASE between the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea and Margaret Perotti, are embedded. Furthermore, Leslie Fenton “will become city administrator Doug Schmitz’ executive assistant, and Perotti will be community activities assistant,” according to reporting in The Carmel Pine Cone.
